Once again, I apologize for the lack of posts that I have had. For the past week, my internet has been really unreliable; it was mostly down. Since I have not been able to make my posts, I have been doing a lot of thinking. Right now, I am focused mostly on Apple related articles, and I realized that I am sure you guys have a lot more interest than just apple. So I decided to write more than just Apple related.

I will begin writing about games, technology news, and anything that us techies will enjoy. I am really excited about doing this, not only will I be able to learn and discover new things, but I will as well be able to write a lot more!

I want to share with you guys my schedule for the next couple of weeks. This week I am going to Texas to visit some relatives, so I will not be able to post as much. Then the week after that, it’s finals week for school (Yay!). So I will have to study a lot for that. So if I do not get the chance to post a lot, I do apologize.

I made a few changes, nothing too exciting, but I thought that I would let you guys know. I took away the “Travis Live!” page, as I do not have a camera anymore. I do plan on purchasing the Logitech Quickcam Orbit, which means I will have a live broadcast going on 24/7! That’s something we all can look forward too.

I also totally revamped the “About Me” page, it even has a new name as well, “Colophon“. I like this name better, makes it sound more professional. So you can check that out if you like, I want to add a few more pictures to it, but did not know where to add it, I probably will later.

Those are just the major changes I did, I am going to start a monthly contest, so stayed tuned for that as well :-). Here are the specs: 2 x 2.8 GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon, 2GB of Memory (soon to be four), and a 320 GB HD, which I plan on adding three more hard drives, not for more space, but for back ups and organization.

You are probably are asking yourself, what do you mean organization? Well you may not know this about me, but I love to make movies. You may have noticed the video tutorials around my site, and this is because I love making movies. I have shot various weddings and many other short films, and I figured with a really big extra HD, I can just keep all of my movies in there.

I was extremely excited because this is one computer that I can upgrade very easily, as I see myself having this computer for years to come.

Oh the joy of transferring data, I was really surprised at how this worked, because I have never transferred computers this way before, basically it was exactly the way way I left my Macbook.

I just picked up this computer, so I am going to wait a bit before I give a more detailed review. I will tell you this however, it is unbelievably fast. Subscribe to the RSS feed if you want to see what this mac pro is capable of!

I am going to decide who the winner is off of one thing, whoever brings the most traffic to my blog. So this is what you must do, you comment this post, and in this comment you will give me the link that will show where your source of traffic is coming from. This way on my site statistics I can see who brought in the most traffic.

The person that brings in the most traffic once I reach a certain amount of RSS readers wins. Now, this is going to be an going competition. Meaning once I reach that goal, I will start another one, and that will go until I reach the next goal. You can post as many sources as you like, there is no limit.

In my last post I showed you how to download youtube videos really easily. I wanted to have some fun with the video that I downloaded, so here it is. Subscribe to the RSS feed if you want more from Travis Reynolds.

When I was making my website, it was extremely easy, and surprisingly really fun. I never used iWeb because I believe it to be amateurish, but now I see what it is used for. It’s great for making like a team website, a personal website for your family and friends, or even a website that anybody can make when they get there first mac.

During this whole process of making my website, it took me about a lil more than an hour, and you can see that it doesn’t take any effort at all. I am actually really impressed, I first thought this was going to be a waste of time and stupid, but I was definitely wrong.
