What’s really going on with the iPhone SDK
I own an 8GB iPhone, and I am pretty sure that you are just as anxious as I am about the new release of the SDK. Wait, what? It’s not out? Apple promised a released in late february I thought. This may be one of the few times that Apple has a delay in a relase. A lot of people read and talka bout it, but what’s really going on?
Thursday Morning
Apple sent out invitations to reports and companies to learn about the SDK and new “exciting” features. Does this mean that the SDK will be released, who knows. I predict that it will, and you will start seeing some updates to the Apple website come tomorrow. What can these new exciting features be? Well, I’m telling you this right now, the iPhone is not getting flash anytime soon.
Thats right, people have been saying they want, people have been sayings it comming, but apple says Flash will not be comming to the iPhone anytime soon.
iPhone Apps
Now, because of the fact that the SDK has a good chance of being released tomorrow morning at 10 AM, how many cool new applications are we going to see. Not Many. Jobs says that you’ll see most of the apps out by summer. Why though, well, as it turns out, the (maybe) release tomorrow may just be a beta. This means that it won’t be up to its full potential. However, do expect a lot of games. In my opnion, yeah games are good but I want more, I didn’t get an iPhone to play cool games on it, I got it because of the technology we can do with it.
I still cannot wait for this release, I’m so excited to see whats comming out and what else I can do. I am going to try and learn how to develop my own software and own web apps sometime in the near future.
