I would like to share with you, what in my opinion are the top revolutionary products released by apple. So what do I mean by revolutionary, well I mean products that have changed the industry world. So here it goes

1. The iMac

Now, the iMac is one of apples top products. It came out in 1998, and sense then it has had about 3 major transformations. The iMac is in my opinion the best All in one Computer out there. I am not quite sure on how the competitors are keeping up but I believe that all of the competitors are not even in the same league as the iMac. I was an owner of the second type of iMac. I was very satisfied with it, it was a really good computer. I pick this one because I believe that it helps customers that want a computer with a lack of wiring, just plug in and go, and it makes it extremely simple.

 

2. The iPod

The iPod in my mind is the greatest technology revolutionary product that apple has made. Was there any mp3 players as advanced when the iPod first came out? No. The iPod changed the way we listen to music. If it wern’t for the iPod we probably would still be using CD’s. There probably would be no iTunes store. Sense the iPods release there has been tons of companies trying to compete with Apple. They just get blown right out of the water.

3. The iPhone

The iPhone without a doubt is the most advanced phone ever created.There are two types of phones, there’s the iPhone, and then there is everythign else. You can do praticaly anything with the iPhone. The iPhone is the first phone with 100% touch screen capability. Meaning everything you want to do comes from the touch screen. Sense it’s release you hear aout verizon’s voyager and other “iPhone killers“. This phone has changed the way cell phones are produced. Now all of the major dealers out there are trying to create there own type of iPhone.

4. Time Machine

Time machine is the first program to ever go back in time and capture files, images, music etc. that are no longer on your computer. Now there are no other products like this yet, but in a few years I wouldn’t be surprised if you see a lot of other products that are tryign to duplicate what time machine has.

5. MacBook Pro

The MacBook Pro is the Fastest NoteBook out there. Yes, you heard me say it, sure there may be more powerful ones out there but the MacBook Pro is the one with out the least problems and is used by thousands of Video and photo editors for its powerful processors and how much memory it can hold for such a computer. When people need a powerful laptop they go to the MacBook pro, this is causing companies such as dell and gateway to try and create a powerful reliable machine.

Other Thoughts

There were other products out there such as the Mac Mini, iSight, and Final Cut Pro that were considered. In the end however I felt that these were the most changing. Expect me to do more posts on apple history in the future.
