Top 10 Widgets That You Must Have
A widget is that exciting feature that Apple stole from Windows.. APRIL FOOLS! Widgets can be extremely useful, they can be used for anything you need them for. So I thought I would show you the widgets that you absolutely must have. Here is the top 10 widgets.
1. To Do

This is great for writing down things that need to be done. Hence the “To-Do” list. What’s great about the To Do widget is that you can set the priority of everything, so you can decide what needs to be done first. Download the To Do widget here.
2. iStat Pro

I have mentioned a lot in the past just how useful iStat is. iStat Allows you monitor the health of your computer, by monitoring your CPU you can determine how much work your computer is doing. Then you can decide to close applications by looking at your ram. My personal favorite is monitoring the temperatures, because if your CPU gets fried your computer is dead. Download iStat Pro Here.
3. Currency Converter

Chances are if you are a business person, you deal with a lot of transactions, so this can help you determine the prices for your international clients. By using currency converter you can decide weather the deal you are on is good or not. It’s also great if you are into Foreign Exchange. Download Currency Converter Here.
4. Countdown

This is one of the most used widgets that I have. Without a doubt it is one of my favorite, I use it when there are special dates that I just cannot wait for or dates that I cannot forget about. Countdown can be used for special events, or deadlines for work or school, maybe even your Mother’s birthday. Download Countdown here.
5. Twitterlex

For all of those twitter users, this widget can be your best friend. Instead of logging into twitter every time, all you need to do is access your dashboard. This will save you a tremendous amount of time. Download Twitterlex here.
6. Gas

With the gas widget, you can make the best decisions on where to purchase your gas. Just think, a free widget like this can possibly save you up to $100 in a year. Download Gas here.
7. Wikipedia

A wikipedia widget is pretty much self explanatory, if there is any information that you need to know, just go to your dashboard and type it in. You will get all the information that you need, in my opinion wikipedia is the greatest source on the internet for information. Download Wikipedia here.
8. Apple News

With Apple News, you can hear first on what is going on at Apple. So the next time apple releases a product like the MacBook Air, you can be first in line to get one. Download AppleNews Here.
9. GoGo Red Ball

This is probably one of the coolest widgets I have ever seen. Basically it is a little red ball that you get to throw around your screen, the cool thing though, that when you come back it is in the exact same spot. This widget is a must have because it can give you some time to burn, and when you are looking at your other widgets you can bounce a little red ball around, just like you could in real life. Download GoGo Red Ball here.
10. Radar in Motion

If you are one of those people like myself who likes to watch the weather, then this widget is for you. Look at the weather around, or see if that bad storm system is almost over. Download Radar in Motion Here.

When I used my mac for widgets - sadly its only for my iPod now…but when I did I used to love iStat Pro, such an amazing widget and a pretty much must have if you own a mac.
Go Go Red Ball looks pretty awesome, the widgets available for Windows Vista suck compared to Mac OS X Selection…
