A few article’s back, I posted an article that talked a little bit about Virus Protection. Now, Secure-Tunnel, is a must have for all Mac users for protecting your self. The web can be a scary place for some, if your online, anybody can find you.

I want you to do me a favor, go to Http://www.Geobytes.com/iplocator.htm. This will tell you your IP address, where you are located, and everything about your location. Let’s say I was searching for you, just by talking to me online I have access to your IP address. Then just like that I can find you, you aren’t as safe on the internet as you think. It is very easy for anybody to find you.

What Can Secure Tunnel Do for you?

Secure tunnel can do many things for you, protect your life on the web, allow you to visit sites that you normally can’t, and protect hackers from finding your computer.
So how does Secure Tunnel protect your life on the web? Easy, let me show you this quote from the guys down at Secure Tunnel.

That’s pretty much how it works, now how does it protect our life. I was fiddling around with it for about a few hours now. I want to the Geobytes website to ask where I was, and it was right on the dot. Then, I connected to the web using there servers that decryptes all of my traffic, I went to the same site right after I connected. It said I was all the way in New Jersey. Now remember, I’m from the Washington area, thats about 3000 miles away. This makes it impossible for anybody to find out where you are.

This will strongly protect you from hackers, identity theft, even block those annoying advertisements like “Find local singles in (your area)”. I hate those. Oh an one more thing, how can we forget that it will also protect your children from the online predators.

What Else can Secure Tunnel do for you

This is why I really enjoy Secure Tunnel, not only does it really give me security on the web, I can do many other things with it as well. This is probably my favorite feature. How many of you guys hate it when you are at work, school or any computer that blocks your favorite sites. Well using there own proxy servers you can visit any website you want. This isn’t like those extremely slow proxy servers for free that are over the internet, these are extremely fast. You can hardly notice a difference.

I am definitely going to be using this feature a lot, now when I am at school, I can upload my posts to Digg, or let other bloggers know what I am up to on Secure Tunnel.

Other Thoughts

Secure Tunnel is a must have for all Mac users if you wish to protect yourself on the web, remain anonymous while visiting websites, plus they let you visit your favorite websites at work or school at extremely high speeds. This is something that is too good to pass by for me, I will enjoy using there servers for a very long time. Now I can get more information, and post more articles online instead of doing school work here =p. Sense I am in school now, I am going to publish this article to Digg right now, just because I can!
